Feature in the Huff Post

Yep, that's me! In February of 2022, I was featured in the Huff Post. The article, "America: As Told By Black Teens", written by Taryn Finely, discusses the lives of black teenagers around the U.S. I talked about personal challenges during the pandemic, my passion of music, and hopes for the future.

Work With
Every Black Girl, Inc.

Every Black Girl (EBG) is a mentorship program for black girls and black women in South Carolina. In 2017, I wrote and performed the theme song, "Every Black Girl" which can be found on all streaming platforms.

As I continued my journey with the program, I began facilitating music theory workshops and contributing as a student leader at conferences. This opportunity led me to travel to Antigua to mentor young black girls in development classes.

The Lock-In Sessions

I LOVE making music in the studio. After a couple years of performing and creating by myself, I wanted to work with other people. So, I brought together 7 of my talented friends and my older brother, who is a producer, to make an album.

Over 2 months we wrote and recorded original music in my home studio. The process was named "The Lock-In Sessions." Filmed episodes are on the Jada Beatz YouTube page. The album "Girls' Day Out" is available on all streaming platforms.
